We Ramp It Up When It Really Matters
Our strong support program during your first three semesters at Monroe will help you transition successfully to college life and keep you on the path toward on-line graduation.
Supporting Your Transition to College
The First-Year Experience
The First-Year Experience (FYE) program gives you what you need to adjust to college life and stay on course for graduation. Tutoring support, special workshops, fun activities — it’s all designed to help you settle in and grow.
We have a process in place to make sure you earn credit for your prior work or life experience. We acknowledge all the time spent and dedication you have accomplished over the years. You can access your credit eligibility in 5 minutes with our Credit Predictor.
At Monroe studying online is a community experience — and a supportive one. When you apply, we match you with a personal admissions counselor. And once classes start, your personal advisor guides your studies, helps with tutoring, and cheers you on.
One reason for Monroe’s record of student success is our faculty. They’re more than skilled teachers with real-world experience. They’re available to you outside of class and outside of school hours, by phone or email. They’re your motivational coaches, your counselors, your advocates.
