The COVID-19 pandemic created a spike in the demand for public health professionals. While the pandemic itself may have flattened out, the demand for biostatisticians and epidemiologists has not. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projects that in the next several years, both those careers will grow at rates far faster than the average for all occupations.

Candidates for our MPH in Biostatistics and Epidemiology must fulfill the following requirements: 

• Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution of higher education.
• Candidates must submit:
  •  A completed application for admission.
  •  A 500-word essay describing your career goals and why you want to pursue a master’s degree.
  • A current résumé.
  • Transcripts from all prior educational institutions attended. 
  • Two (2) professional letters of recommendation. 
• Online MPH candidates must also participate in a pre-admission interview.
