  • Online Master's Degree in Public Health

Monroe Online’s Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program based at the King Graduate School is designed to prepare graduates for careers in government agencies, academia, healthcare institutions, public health interest groups and nonprofit organizations.

Public health is a diverse field that attracts professionals from various educational backgrounds working to address complex health issues such as sexually transmitted infections, chronic diseases, environmental hazards and substance abuse. Public health serves local or global communities in an effort to improve individual health and prolong lives. Public health professionals often collaborate with clinicians, heath care agencies and community members to identify resources that help alleviate health issues and prevent health problems.

Like Monroe’s other online degree programs, the MPH program offers convenient scheduling in which students have the option to take courses on campus, online or both. If students choose to take classes on campus, they can study in New Rochelle, the Bronx or Queens. In addition, students are able to tailor their degree by specializing in one of two concentrations, either community health or health administration and leadership.

Monroe College’s online MPH (Master’s in Public Health) degree program has been ranked one of the most affordable programs in the U.S., according to Top Master’s in Healthcare Administration
