Monroe College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
The Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation.
Monroe College is authorized by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York to grant the following certificates and degrees:
- Certificate in Practical Nursing
- Associate in Science (AS) degrees in Criminal Justice and Information Technology; Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degrees in Accounting, Baking and Pastry, Business Administration, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Information Technology, Medical Administration, Medical Assisting, Registered Nursing
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Information Technology and Public Health
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees in Accounting, Business Management, General Business, Health Services Administration, Hospitality Management and Information Technology
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Management
- Master of Science (MS) degree in Criminal Justice
All curricula are registered by the State Education Department.
