Monroe Celebrates Constitution Day

September 25, 2017

Last week, the College hosted several activities to celebrate National Constitution Day, which commemorates the signing of the U.S. Constitution 230 years ago. In addition to classroom talks and presentations, we asked students to help handwrite the Constitution and create new Amendments, among other activities. We even held a contest to quiz students’ civics knowledge. Congrats to our winners, who correctly answered questions about our government that were taken from the test required of those who wish to become citizens:  Izayah Lamartz, Junior Jorge, Maria Fiallos, Kasey Rivera, Shadiasha Camp, Mayan Purser, Rudolph Gray, and Assetou Mbo.
