  • Homecoming at Monroe College!

    At Monroe College, we love homecoming. It brings together all of our favorite things: family, friends, celebration, and fun! This year’s Homecoming is an extra special one, because we’re celebrating 85 years of making a difference in our community.

    To mark the occasion, we’ve put together an exciting list of weekend activities, designed to bring together Monroe alumni, students, faculty — plus family and friends. Want in? Take a look below and sign up for all our fun activities.

    Saturday, October 20th

    Monroe Mile

    9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

    Gaddy Hall

    Join students, staff, faculty, and alumni for our annual Monroe Mile 5k run or walk, to benefit the Monroe Foundation.

    Suggested Donation: $15.00/adult, $5.00/child

    Carnival in the Courtyard 

    9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

    Gaddy Courtyard

    Games, rides, refreshments – this old-school carnival is sure to be a great time. Bring the whole family!

    Family BBQ 

    11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

    Gaddy Café

    We’re firing up the grill during this delicious BBQ for the whole Monroe family. Make sure to come hungry to this yummy event!

    Trolley Rides 

    11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

    Gaddy Courtyard

    Explore downtown New Rochelle, Long Island Sound, Boat Clubs, and beautiful parks by taking a tour in an old-time trolley!

    Mustang Tailgate 

    4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

    Let’s toast to a Mustang victory! Meet old friends and make new ones at our Alumni and Parent cocktail hour and get excited for the big game.

    Homecoming Football Game

    7:00 PM

    City Park

    Come cheer on the Monroe Mustangs as we take on Kirkland Academy. Halftime entertainment provided by the Monroe Marching Band! Round-trip bus transportation will be available from the Bronx and New Rochelle.

    Free bus transportation, along with free admission to the game!

    Sunday, October 21st

    Men’s Basketball Jamboree 

    11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    MAC (Monroe Athletic Complex)

    Support the Men’s Varsity and Junior Varsity as they play in a 1-day mini-tournament against six other college teams.
