The program consists of proficient learning and requires a complete time commitment by the student to successfully meet all requirements. The nursing courses provide the basis for students to use critical thinking to apply increasingly complex knowledge, skills, technologies and client care activities into evidence-based nursing practice. This program builds on the first year and is integrated with concepts from the liberal arts and biological, physical, psychological, and social sciences.

Upon completion of the program the student is awarded an Associate in Applied Science Degree of Nursing and is eligible to take the NCLEX-RN licensing exam.
