Monroe Coding Academy
Build your web and app development skills with Monroe’s new Coding Academy.
This May, Monroe College will offer a free, twelve-week Coding Academy open to all currently enrolled high school juniors and seniors. Courses will be held Saturdays from 9 am – 12 pm, running from May 14th to July 30th. Program participants will choose between two major tracks: web development and app development. Each track will work together as a class on a group project: The Web Development track will plan and build a completely functional website, while the App Development track will conceptualize and create a game that they will submit to the Apple and Google App Stores.
Students with all levels of experience are welcome; from absolute beginners interested in getting started to coding experts looking to build their skills in a new coding language, everyone can learn from these college-level coding tracks.
