    Workplace Skills Assessment

The process of choosing a career often begins with self-assessment. Want to know how well you are equipped for the workplace? The Office of Career Services can provide you with some insight.

Consider also taking a self-assessment program that will let you learn more about your strengths and interests. Focus is a self-paced online guidance program that will help you understand your values, interests and skills and then match them with suggested careers. Please contact Career Services to obtain the key code needed to begin this assessment.

After taking the Focus assessment, meet with a Monroe career advisor to discuss your results and generate ideas for careers to research. Keep in mind that no single test can tell you "what you should be," and that successful career planning will likely require an investment of time and effort.
