  • Overview of Admissions Process

    Before students submit an application, please review the steps outlined below. Please note that students applying to Monroe Online must be 21 years old at the time of enrollment.

    Step 1:  Online Application & Personal Essay

    Students will need to complete and submit an online application, including a 350-word personal essay describing why they would like to attend Monroe.

    Step 2:  Submit Credentials

    After completing and submitting the online application, students will need to provide the Monroe College admissions office at either campus location with the following:

    • High School Transcript and Diploma (alternatively, students may submit their GED scores)
    • Transfer Credit (if students are transferring credits from a previous institution, they must submit official academic transcripts)
    • $35 Admissions Fee (we accept check, money order, certified bank draft or cash)

    Step 3: Admissions Interview

    Students will need to schedule an interview with an admissions counselor from Monroe College to discuss their educational goals, career aspirations and outside interests.
