MBA Career Management

Career development is an integral aspect of the MBA degree program at the King Graduate School.   The Office of Career Advancement (OCA) has a number of resources that enable MBA students to develop a career plan that will lead to rewarding career opportunities. MBA Career Tracks

Each student is assigned an OCA Career Advisor who provides one on one career coaching and counseling throughout student’s time at the King Graduate School.

To ensure MBA students gain long term career development skills, the OCA conducts workshops several times each semester and on both campuses.  Some of these workshops include:

  • Cover Letter and Resume Writing
  • Interviewing Techniques/Mock Interviews
  • Internship and Job Search Techniques
  • Professional Dress Code Workshops
  • Career Development Workshops for International Students

The OCA also hosts Career Fairs and Networking Events that help MBA students get in touch with recruiters and widen their professional network.

Be sure to check out E-recruiting database Database of jobs and internships for Monroe students which allows you to view online job listings, post a resume to the database, and access additional web-based career resources.

Contact the OCA Career Advisor to discuss your career objectives and develop an action plan to reach your professional goals.
