An MBA Degree is a Master's of Business Administration that provides training in the theory and practice of business management. The MBA is basically a document that certifies that you have a general competency in all the major functional management roles you'll find in the modern corporation. According to Education Pays, a recent College Board study: The median salary for a Master Degree holder is $59,508. The median salary for a Bachelor Degree holder is $49,889.

 

According to US Census Data, it is not hard to see why more and more people are going to college to earn another degree: A person with a Master's Degree will make $367,200 more during their lifetime than a someone with a Bachelor's Degree.
