Association membership is the best way to strengthen your involvement in the Monroe College community including working with the Admissions Department, supporting development initiatives, mentoring students, providing career counseling, etc.

In conjunction with the College's Financial Services Department, the Monroe College Alumni Association offers student loan consolidation assistance so you can combine your student loan debt into one simple loan. Borrowers who choose to consolidate can lock in a fixed rate for the entire life of the loan, reduce their monthly payment, and save money. The Association publishes its electronic newsletter “Monroe Alumni Connection” to keep alumni up to date with what’s happening at Monroe and with the Association. You can see what is happening with old friends and acquaintances on the “Class Notes” page. Also, you have access to the Monroe alumni database which lists thousands of graduates throughout the U.S.
This is a way to pass on the legacy of a quality education to your children. If the son or daughter of a Monroe Alum applies for enrollment, that student is eligible for a $500 tuition scholarship.

If you are in a position to hire or be instrumental in the hiring of a Monroe College graduate, you can be part of the Graduates Hiring Graduates (GHG) Program. It's a great way to share your success as a Monroe alum. All members of the GHG program will have their name on a plaque in the Alumni Welcome Center in West Hall on the Bronx campus and in Milavec Hall in New Rochelle. Also, you will be honored at a special luncheon in the Spring, and have an opportunity to take a course at Monroe free of charge.
